Sveiki kamščio kolegos. Kiek netikėtai jums, šiandien keliuosi į Meksiką. Šiandien gliaudysim tekilos riešutus. Ieškosim, ką gi gali mums pasiūlyti tekilos? Tik, neišsigąskit, nebus jokių Jose Cuervo, Sierra ar kokio El Cheapo. Tad, jei jau nuraminau, keliaujam!

Asombroso Ultrafino, El Platino, Tequila Silver, 40%, OB
Kompozicijai kurti naudota 100% mėlynosios agavos. Taip pat distiliuota 3 kartus. Kaip patys skelbiasi šioje Tequila Silver nėra jokių pridėtinių medžiagų. Beabejo, šio tipo tekilos nėra mačiusios jokio medžio per savo gyvenimą…Nebent per stiklą…Oh Well. Nosis. Tik įsipylus, lengvai smogia alkoholis, bet per kelias minutes visiškai dingsta. Tad, nieko baisaus, nors pradžioje netgi buvau „sunerimęs”. Daug įvairių žalumynų, kaip svogūnų laiškai, krieno lapai, petražolės, česnakas ir garstyčių lapai. Truputis jalapeno ir baltojo pipiro. Kiek nurimus išlenda vanilė, meduolis ir lengvas minerališkumas. Visai nieko, bent jau įdomu. Skonis. Su šiek tiek charakterio, nors tik 40%, bet turi ką pasakyti. Žalias pipiras, svogūnų laiškų aitrumas, baltas pipiras ir žalumynai. Gal net žalia alyvuogė atsiridena? Lengvai sausina burną. Mano supratimu, skonis per paprastas, lyginant su kvapu. Momentais kažkoks sviestiškumas ir kartono popierius perbėga kelią. O šiaip, kaip tokio stiprumo, ši tekila nėra švelni, turi dantukus. Poskonis. Trumpas ir šiek tiek minerališkas. Žalias pipiras. Mano trys centai. Nosis gana smagi. O jei dar nuoširdžiau, tai net negalvodamas rinkčiausi šitą tekilą (nei sakykim El Cheapo), kai tenka su draugais kažko paragauti vakaro metu keliaujant per barus.

Pripažinsiu, kai pamačiau spalvą, pagalvojau: negi skirta tik jaunosioms tekilos ragautojoms? O jeigu ir taip? If it works it ain’t stupid. O jei rimčiau, tai ši tekila yra brandinta 3 mėnesius ex-Bordo statinėse. Tad, spalva atrodo kaip 1/20 praskiedus burokėlių sultis. Trys mėnesiai ir spalva gana stipriai paveikta. Nosis. Aha, tikrai taip, yra labai subtilių užuomenų apie ąžuolo poveikį, bet labai mažai. Nors pats kvapas jau pakitęs. Sunkoka rasti didelių panašumų į Silver, kadangi patys kvapai prislopę. Momentais lenda silpna vyno ar tai vyšnių rūgštelė. Silver kvapas labiau lipo. Skonis. Burną sausina panašiai kaip Silver. Skoniui, vyno bačkos padarė mažiau įtakos. Vėl jaučiasi žalumynai, svogūnų laiškai, krienai ir truputis rūgštelės. Nors vyno įtaka skonyje yra labai maža, bet vis tik skonis sušvelnėjęs, labiau civilizuotesnis ir išlaikantis savo DNR. Poskonis. Trumpas ir prieskoningas. Mėsos prieskoniai. Mano trys centai. Lieku prie Silver tekilos. Nors pripažinsiu, vyno – vyšnių rūgštelė kvape buvo išties puiki. Jei norėjo atskleisti vyno bačkas, reikėjo laikyti ilgiau. 6 – 8 mėnesius.

Na gerai, ką mes čia turime įdomaus? 5 metus brandinta naujose prancūziško ąžuolo statinėse. Ir dar metam buvo pamerkta į ex-airiško viskio statines. Skamba intriguojančiai. Neužmirškim, tai ne viskio distiliatas buvo sumerktas į šias statines. Nosis. O taip, statinės čia padarė savo darbą, ir labai didelį. Vanilinis cukrus, meduoliai, šviesus medus, kmynai, cinamonas ir labai stiprios kokoso, vanilės, iriso natos. Momentais ausis kiša arbatžolės, juodas pipiras ir čiobrelis. Pats tekilos DNR labai stipriai paslėptas po statinių paltu, bet dar truputį alsuoja. Pats kvapas labai pilnas. Gal net primenantis kvepalus, bet be jokio šlykštumo. Kvapas gal kiek tiesmukiškas, bet asmeniškai esu sužavėtas. Net bijau ragauti…Skonis. Hmm…Tekilos Silver asmenybė jaučiasi labiau nei kvape. Arbatžolės (labai daug), vanilė, kokosas, citrinos skiltelė, kmynai, juodieji pipirai, kažkokie žalumynai. Pats tekilos distiliatas čia mano manymu labai neblogai maskuoja didelę ąžuolo įtaką. Balansas tarp DNR ir statinių yra, bet aš asmeniškai eičiau dar labiau į statinių pusę, jeigu nutarčiau gaminti Extra Anejo tekilą. Arba tiesiog likčiau prie Silver versijos. Poskonis. Vidutinis, su daug Silver tekilos atributų. Mano trys centai. Išties įdomi ir labai šauni tekila. Laisvai ragaujama iš lėto ir kas įdomiausia, kad bus ką veikti, kai ieškosit įvairių kvapų. Nosis buvo išties nebloga.

G4, Tequila Anejo, 40%, Bourbon casks, OB
Dar viena brandinta tekila ąžuolo statinėse. Šįkart tekila praleido 18 mėnesių burbono statinėse. Pakankamai ilgas laiko tarpas, kad kažką nuveikti. Vėlgi, 100% mėlynoji agava. Gavusi daugybę apdovanojimų. Kai kur sakoma, kad tai viena geriausių tekilų iki šiol. Nosis. Kriaušių limonadas, vanilė, citrinos, žali obuoliai, bonbonkės, liepžiedžių arbata, medaus saldumas, persikai ir vyšnios. Truputis medžio, bet čia jis labai gerai tinka. Subalansuoja tuos saldžius kvapus. Pats kvapas švelnus, malonus, šviesus ir labai arbatiškas. Gal net gėliškas. Šios tekilos kvapas labiau patinka, nei Extra Anejo. Ne toks tiesmukiškas. Sunku ištraukti nosį. Skonis. Čia vėlgi daugiau pačios tekilos skonio. Žalias pipiras, krienai, žalios alyvuogės, mėsos prieskoniai, bazilikas. Gal netgi užuomena apie laužą. Taninai gana ryškūs, kurie smagiai išvalo ir sausina burną. Statinės ir čia yra: vanilė, imbieras, kokosas ir truputis karamelės. Ir skonis smagesnis nei Extra Anejo tekilos. Labiau subalansuotas. Poskonis. Vidutinio ilgumo. Arbatžolės, prieskoniai ir žalumynai. Mano trys centai. Dar viena šauni tekila, o ir kaina lyginant su EA tekila yra juokinga.

Huizache, Tequila Reposado, 40%, Whiskey casks, OB
Dar viena, bet jau paskutinė tekila. Ši taip pat yra brandinta ąžuolo statinėse. Šįkart, tik 3 mėnesius, kuriuos praleido Kalifornijos viskio statinėse. Net neįsivaizduoju, kas tai buvo per viskis. Tekila buvo du kartus distiliuota ir yra iš Jalisco regiono. Nosis. Truputi gėliška ir labai švelni. Netgi per švelni. Juodas pipiras, truputis vanilės, arbatžolių arbata, sodo vaisiai, gal truputis citrusų. Visi kvapai taip prislopę. Teoriškai negyva nosis. Kas jai nutiko? Skonis. Kažkas sujudėjo…? Vėlgi, juodas pipiras, žalias obuolys, vanilinis cukrus ir lengvas aitrumas. Per kažkurią vietą geriau nei nosis. Nors vis tiek skonis plokščias, plonas ir labai neįpareigojantis. Poskonis. Ai, baikit, nėra jo čia. Kaip kažkas būtų praskiedęs iki 30%. Mano trys centai. Liūdna ir ramu. Kaip po stiprios audros. Tiktų druska ir citrina.

Štai ir susiragavo pirmas „bečas” tekilų. Manyčiau visgi ragautuvės buvo sėkmingos. Jei tektų rinktis, be didesnės abejonės imčiau G4 tekilą. Puiki nosis, bet neperspausta, skonis gal kiek plonokas, bet čia tiesiog kaltinčiau 40% išpilstymą.
EA yra gera tekila, bet kaina ją stumia į užribį. Beje ir Silver tekila labai neblogai atstovėjo savo. O kitoms likau gana abejingas, ypač Huizache tekilai, viską pavadinimas pasako:D.
