Sveiki. Dar viena savaitė prabėgo ir vėl jus informuoju apie šios savaitės naujienas. Ši savaitė buvo kiek ramesnė naujienų atžvilgiu, bet tik truputį. Tad, žiūrim ką turim tame krepšelyje?

Visai nesenai rašiau apie 16 metų versiją, kurios kompozicijoje naudojamas šokoladinis salyklas (chocolate malt). Ir štai turime vyresnį brolį Fettercairn 22YO. Brandintas 22 metus amerikinio ex-burbono statinėse. Išpilstytas teisingu 47% stiprumu. Kaina apie 200 eurų. Prekyboje nuo šių metų rugpjūčio pradžios.
Klasikinės statinės vyresniam viskiui, kodėl ne?

Glenfarclas Stillmen’s Dram buvo sukurtas Spirit of Speyside festivaliui, kuris šiais metais turėjo vykti balandžio 29 – gegužės 4. Žinoma, dėl visiems suprantamų priežasčių buvo atšauktas. Beabejo, viskis niekur nedingo. Išdistiliuotas 2009 metais ir yra išpilstytas 60.1% stiprumu. Tiražas 658 buteliai iš vienos pirmo pildymo oloroso statinės (butt). Kaina apie 100 svarų. 10% butelio kainos keliaus į Moray Food Plus labdarą. Šiuo metu galite įsigyti pas BI Wine and Spirits.

Distillery Edition serija iš Glen Moray turi tris naujus išpilstymus.
1. Glen Moray Chardonnay Cask 2003, brandintas visą šį laiką chardonnay statinėje. Išpilstytas 58.9% stiprumu.
2. Glen Moray Burgundy Cask 2004, pilnai brandintas burgundy bačkoje. Išpilstytas 60.1% stiprumu.
3. Glen Moray Chenin Blanc Cask 2004, visa savo gyvenimą mirkęs chenin blanc statinėje. Išpilstytas 60.3 stiprumu.
Įdomiausia, kad šiuos viskius galite įsigyti tik paskambinę šiuo numeriu +44 01343 550900. Šie viskiai kaip ir turėtų būti parduodami tik viskio distilerijoje, bet dėl suprantamų priežasčių yra siūlomas kitoks įsigijimo kelias. Beje, vieno butelio kaina 85 svarai.

The Cask Hound mums rodo antrą savo viskių seriją, kurią sudaro gana jauni, bet pakankamai įdomūs viskiai. Pasižvalgom.

  • Teaninich 11YO – išdistiliuotas 2009, išpilstytas 2020 metais, 59.2, brandintas hogshead tipo statinėje, 214 butelių. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina apie 40 eurų.
  • Blair Athol 10YO – išdistiliuotas 2010 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 56.6%, pilnai brandintas raudono vyno statinėje (barrique), 374 buteliai. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina apie 47 eurus.
  • Glen Elgin 10YO – išdistiliuotas 2010, išpilstytas 2020 metais, 63.5%, brandintas ex-burbono statinėje (hogshead), 144 buteliai. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina apie 39 eurus.
  • Ledaig 12YO – išdistiliuotas 2008 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 60.0%, brandintas ex-burbono statinėje, o paskutinius 7 mėnesius finišuotas Fernando De Castilla pedro ximenez bačkoje, 190 butelių. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina apie 75 eurus.

Beje visi šie viskiai išpilstyti į 0.5l butelius. Neapsigaukit.

  • Clynelish 24YO – išdistiliuotas 1995 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 54.5%, brandintas pakartotinio pildymo chereso statinėje (butt), 573 buteliai, statinės nr. 11229. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas.
  • Deanston 12YO – išdistiliuotas 2007, išpilstytas 2020, 64.5%, brandintas pirmo pildymo chereso bačkoje (butt), 630 butelių, statinės nr. 900142. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas.
  • Dailuaine 22YO – išdistiliuotas 1997 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 46.1%, brandintas hogshead tipo statinėse, 405 buteliai, statinių nr. 7162/7163. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas.
  • Inchgower 22YO – išdistiliuotas 1997 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 59.7%, brandintas burbono statinėse (hogsheads), o paskutinius 27 mėnesius „finišuotas” vienoje pirmo pildymo chereso bačkoje (butt), 703 buteliai, statinės nr. 2. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas.
  • Ledaig 12YO – išdistiliuotas 2007, išpilstytas 2020 metais, 59.8%, brandintas pakartotinio pildymo chereso statinėje (butt), 604 buteliai, statinės nr. 700555. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas.
  • Auchentoshan 19YO – išdistiliuotas 2000 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 56.1%, brandintas hogshead tipo bačkoje, 251 butelis, statinės nr. 800160. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas.

Ir tradiciškai naujienas užbaigiam su šiuo metu dar nepatvirtintais viskio leidimais. Glenmorangie Sonoma – Cutrer Reserve 25YO, buvo ilgą laiką „finišuotas” baltojo chardonnay vyno statinėse. Šios vyno statinės atkeliavo iš Sonoma – Cutrer vyninės ir tai yra pirmas kartas, kai šios statinės yra naudojamos Glenmorangie distilerijoje. Išpilstytas 50.4% stiprumu. Nefiltruotas.
Pakankamai daug informacijos, kaip viskiui, kuris gal net dar nėra išpilstytas.

Antroji ir paskutinė tokio tipo naujiena taip pat parkeliauja iš šios aukštumų distilerijos. Glenmorangie Cask 2 Hand Selected By Dr. Bill Lumsden yra vienos statinės leidimas. Brandintas 22 metus, o tiražas net 135 buteliai. Užbaigtas brandintis raudonojo Pommard vyno statinėje. Išpilstytas 55.9% stiprumu. Nefiltruotas.
Galimai šis leidimas yra skirtas JAV rinkai. Pagyvensim ir pamatysim.
