Sveiki. Už lango lietus stipriai merkia miestą. Tikrai nesinori nosies kišti į lauką. Tad manau laikas truputi jus informuoti apie naujienas, kurios buvo parodytos šią savaitę. Pradedam.

Loch Lomond 12 Year Old The Open Special Edition 2020 yra sukurtas 149-osioms Open at Royal St George’s in Kent. Šis golfo turnyras yra atšauktas ir tai yra pirmas kartas nuo antro pasaulinio karo. Įdomiausia, kad šio viskio distiliatui sukurti buvo panaudotos Chardonnay vyno mielės. Brandintas amerikinio ąžuolo statinėse. Išpilstytas 46% stiprumu. Tiražas 3000 butelių. Kaina apie 50 eurų.
Kaip jie sako, viskis turėtų būti labai gyvas, gaivinantis, švarus, netgi šaldantis. Viena iš retų Škotijos distilerijų, kurios išbando vyno mieles kuriant viskio kompozicijas. Sveikintina.

O dabar šiek tiek keliaujam prie durpių. Parduotuvė „Tastillery” pradeda prekyba jaunu Caol Ila French Smoke Chateau Lafite-Rothschild viskiu. Pirmuosius 5.5 metų praleido ex-burbuno statinėje, o likusius 6 mėnesius pirmo pildymo Chateau Lafite-Rothshild statinėje. Išpilstytas 51.7% stiprumu. Tiražas 328 buteliai. Kaina 110 eurų.
Na ką čia pasakysi, už 6 metus 110 eurų kaina yra daug daugiau nei optimistiška.

Jaunoji Bimber distilerija taip pat nesnaudžia ir mūsų teismui rodo naują salyklinį viskį. Kurtas kartu su parduotuvių tinklų „Selfridges”, o įpakavimas kurtas kartu su olandų skulptoriumi Eelke van Willegen. Kompozicija. Pirmasis brandinimo etapas ex-burbono statinėse, o antrasis oloroso chereso. Išpilstytas 51.5% stiprumu. Tiražas 936 buteliai. Kaina 80 svarų (auč)…
Kaip patys giriasi, tai vintažinės statinės iš Gonzaless Byass chereso vyninės. Bet kaip visada… Labai įdomu, kiek laiko viskis mirko tose bačkose?

Dar viena jauna distilerija mums pristato netgi dvi naujienas. Pirmoji, The One Orange Wine Cask Finished. Kompozicijos pagrindą sudaro jų pačių viskis. Kitos kompozicijos dalys atkeliauja iš Speyside, Aukštumų ir Ailos. Brandintas neaišku laiko tarpą apelsinų vyno statinėse. Išpilstytas 46.6% stiprumu. Tiražas 2994 buteliai. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina 48 svarai.
Apelsinų vynas – gaminamas Huelvoje, Malagoje, Andalūzijoje, pietinėje Ispanijos pakrantėje. Taip pat šis vynas gaminamas Italijoje, Austrijoje ir Sakartvele. Tai vyno gamybos stilius, nepririštas prie vienos šalies ar regiono. Baltasis vynas maceruojamas su džiovintomis apelsinų žievelėmis, tada brandinamas ąžuolo statinėse naudojant Solera sistemą.
Iš pirmo žvilgsnio skamba „creepy”, bet kol neparagavau negaliu smerkti. Tad šį viskį pridedu prie įdomių viskių sąrašo.

The One Sherry Cask Finished. Tai antra naujiena iš šios jaunos distilerijos. Čia nieko „creepy” nerasime. Vėlgi pirmiausia brandintas ex-burbono statinėse. „Finišuotas” europinio ąžuolo Pedro Ximenez ir oloroso chereso statinėse. Kompozicijos pagrindą sudaro jų pačių viskis. Kiti viskiai atkeliauja iš Speyside ir Ailos salos. Išpilstytas 46.6% stiprumu. Tiražas siekia 4512 butelių. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas. Kaina 48 svarai.

Būtų dar gerai žinoti, ką prieš tai laikė toje Octave bačkoje ar iš kokių statinių jinai buvo pagaminta, ar visiškai nauja?
  • Dailuaine 11YO, išdistiliuotas 2009 metais, išpilstytas 2020, 54%, „finišuotas” 3 mėnesius Octave tipo statinėje, 80 butelių, statinės nr. 10926813. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas.

Ir pabaigai. Oficialiai dar nepatvirtintos naujienos. Panašu, kad Benromach mums ruošia gerokai vyresnę savo salyklinio viskio versiją Benromach 21YO. Brandintas pirmo pildymo statinėse. Kompozicijoje yra tikrai pirmo pildymo chereso statinių. Išpilstytas 43% stiprumu ir yra natūralios spalvos.
Et, 43%, tokiam viskiui verkiant reikia 46%.

Ir seilės pavarvinimui keletas senolių iš Gordon & Macphail kompanijos.

Glenury Royal 1984. Išdistiliuotas tais pačiais metais, kai distilerija užvėrė savo duris. Išpilstytas 49.1 stiprumu. Brandintas viso 35 metus. Viskio istorija ne kitaip.

Mosstowie 1979. Išpilstytas 49.8% stiprumu. Brandintas viso 40 metų. Mosstowie neturėjo savo vardo distilerijos. Realiai, viskis yra iš Miltonduff. Šis viskis buvo išdistiliuotas dviejose Lomond stiliaus distiliatoriuose. Dėl šio išskirtinumo taip atsirado Mosstowie vardas. Vėlgi, škotiško viskio istorija.

Glencraig 1975. Išpilstytas 54.2% stiprumu. Brandintas 44 metus. Ta pati istorija su Glencraig vardu. Išdistiliuoti distiliatui buvo naudojami Lomond stiliaus distiliatoriai ir tai vyko po Glenburgie stogu. Istorija.
