Islandijos distilerija Floki mums rodo du vienos statinės leidinius. Pirmasis salyklinis viskis brendo jauno Floki salyklo statinėse apie 2 – 2.5 metų, o paskutiniai 6 mėnesiai buvo praleisti Oloroso chereso statinėse. Supilstytas 47% stiprumu. Nefiltruotas ir nedažytas.
Ir antrasis salyklas iš Islandijos. Brandintas jauno Floki salyklo statinėse apie 3 metus. Ir čia įdomiausia dalis. Paskutinius mėnesius šis salyklas „brendo” beržo medienoje. Kaip žinia iš beržo medienos nelabai gaunasi statinės, tad distilerija sugalvojo pagaminti įpjautus (kad padidėtų medienos plotas) beržo medienos tašelius ir juos pamerkti į salyklinį viskį. Išpilstytas 47% stiprumu. Nedažytas ir nefiltruotas.
Sakyčiau labai šauniai sugalvojo su tais beržo tašeliais. Reikia paragauti. Kas už?
Ir visas šūsnis šiuo metu nepatvirtintų naujienų. Pradėkime nuo Jameson Stout Edition. Pirmiausia šias statines Jameson paskolino alaus bravorui „8D”. Jose kurį laiką brandinosi stout stiliaus alus. Po šio laikotarpio distilerija susigrąžino statines ir juose „finišavo” Jameson viskį.
Žodžiu sviestas sviestuotas. Bet kodėl gi ne!?
Dar vienas „airis”. Midleton Very Rare brandintas amerikinio ąžuolo statinėse (barrels) ir „finišuotas” naujo Airiško ąžuolo statinėse (hogsheads). Be amžiaus nuorodos, nefiltruotas ir supilstytas 56.3%.
Taip, taip, airiško. O kaina turbūt tikrai nejuokinga.
Informacijos apie Benromach Organic 2011 šiuo metu nėra daug. Taigi ką mes žinom? Brandintas aštuonis metus ąžuolo statinėse ir supilstytas 43% stiprumu. Ir viskas, nei miežių rūšies, nei statinių tipo.
Ir kodėl distilerija pasirinko supilstyti 43%? Ar čia klaida?
O čia informacijos dar mažiau. Tullibardine 15YO. Brandintas 15 metų ir į butelius supilstytas 43% stiprumu.
Galbūt, tai naujas „core range” narys?
Tomatin 1977. O šitas reikalas visai susuka galvas. 1977 + 45 = 2022. Taigi etiketėse yra įsivėlusi grubi klaida. Supilstytas 49% stiprumu. Tiražas 390 butelių.
Palaukim ir laikas viską sustatys į savo vietas…ilgai lauksim. Beabejo, kaina tikrai nelepins.
